For healers, any fight where you get to stand there…no, just stand there, don’t move…and there is massive damage is just going to make you happy. I am sure he will be dead next time we get to him. (I never have connection problems and I couldn’t get in to save my life). Saurfang…well, we didn’t quite kill him before the server killed us. I suspect this is what they thought they were doing with Flame leviathan (something different, something fun) but instead FL just became a joke/annoyance. Besides seeing a bear with a jet back on its ass (I’ m * SO* disappointed trees don’t get jet packs, SO unfair) I also got to be part of the jumping crew, so bouncing back and forth. However, once everyone got the right idea on the adds we were just fine. Since my job is to stand in the middle and heal stuff (oh, and move out of Death & Decay when DBM tells me to) I really shouldn’t talk I suppose. Perhaps sprinkle in a little “this was so easy on 10 man” and you’ve got the right combo. Why? Mostly because people weren’t listening to our raid leader, IMHO.
Moving right along to the Lady…she gave us a little trouble. Depends on what the scaling is like, I guess. That said, I can already see potential for Hard Mode to be trickier than people think – I can see those spikes doing massive damage and the flame and whirlwind just creaming people. Compared to Firefighter or some of the other more move-out-of-crap fights we’ve had lately, it was pretty cake. Move from (rather slow moving) blue fire, kill/heal spike people, run away…blah. The debuffs always come in handy, although usually VuhDo (/kisskiss) adds them into the default pretty quickly so I usually only do really major ones.įirst boss wasn’t really bad at all. I read up, took notes, made power auras and added every debuff I could find to VuhDo. My main gets to run next Monday, so I will be a lot more comfortable on her!Īll my nerves made me prep even more than I normally do – more like when I was raid leading and less like just another player. I was horribly nervous as my sorry little excuse for a Priest was, frankly, undergeared.
